Fight Abortion!

This is a cause that is very close to me. I am totally against abortion! I think it is murder, horrible, and totally wrong! Now that Barack Obama is president, He says that he will sign the FOCA (Freedom of Choice Act.) This will legalize abortion and give people the freedom of choice. Please click the link at the bottom of this page and sign the petition to let your voice be heard against abortion! CLICK HERE TO SIGN THE PETITION!!!

For those of you who do not know what partial birth abortion is like....here is a link to a video that show how the doctors kill the innocent baby. (It is done on a fake baby.....nothing gross)
here is the video....(sorry about the name....I couldn't find anything else that was appropriate. click here.

"If men strive, and hurt a women with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life" (Ex.21:22-23).

Homecoming Week 2008!

WOW!!!! It's been busy. I haven't updated anything on here in a while!!! I've been super busy at school with tests, and homework, and Kodie's Basketball games, and being class president and then on top of all that.this week was homecoming!!!

This week was super exciting. The theme for this year was, "through the looking glass."(Alice in Wonderland) On Monday, it was Tweddle-Dee and Tweddle-Dum day. My friend Lesley and I went as John McCain and Sarah Palin. Throughout the entire election we were campaigning and supporting the McCain/Palin ticket, so it was very exciting to be dressed like them. We were one of the best dressed in the class according to teachers.Tuesday was Mad Hatter Tea Party Day where you dress up like your going to a crazy tea party. This was fun!Wednesday was class competition day. We all received colored shirts according to our grade. Of course, the freshmen were pink.Thursday was superhero day....random. I went as Super Fresh???? All I really did was where my water boy shirt from powder puff that day with a cape.Friday was school spirit day and I went all out! I wore my water boy shirt again with jeans and then I painted my face a hair! Then that night we went to the homecoming game where we played Hollywood Christian and we creamed them.Although the Freshmen came in last place of the week, we had a great time!!!

Poem about America

A sad but true poem about our country!
B Langley
WRITTEN BY A 15 yr. old SCHOOL KID IN ARIZONA :
New Pledge of Allegiance (TOTALLY AWESOME) !
Since the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer are not allowed in most public schools anymore Because the word 'God' is mentioned.... A kid in Arizona wrote the attached

NEW School prayer : Now I sit me down in school Where praying is against the rule For this great nation under God Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites, It violates the Bill of Rights. And anytime my head I bow Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green, That's no offense; it's a freedom scene. The law is specific, the law is precise. Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall Might offend someone with no faith at all. In silence alone we must m editate, God's name is prohibited by the state.20

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks, And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks. They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible. To quote the Good Book makes me liable. We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen, And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King. It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong, We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.

We can get our condoms and birth controls, Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles. But the Ten Commandments are not allowed, 0ANo word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess, Whe n chaos reigns the school's a mess. So, Lord, this silent plea I make: Should I be shot; My soul please take! Amen

If you aren't ashamed to do this, please pass this on. Jesus said, 'If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father.' Not ashamed. Pass this on.

  3. Games were very fun.
  4. Food was good.
  5. My team was amazing! Go Thundercats!!!
  6. Many kids accepted Christ!!!
  7. The people in my room were alot of fun!
  8. I met alot of new kids I had seen but never new!
  9. Talent show was hilarious!
  10. Seminars and Sessions were great and really talked to me!

I am very excited about next years camp and I hope it will be even better than this one! If you would like to read more bout this years camp you can click here!

The Dark Knight

Tonight I went for the second time to see the movie, The Dark Knight. The first time I saw it was the first night it came out. I went with my youth group and we saw it at its first showing at 12:01 a.m. I love the movie and I think it is the best movie ever made so far! Most movies I see I can only watch once and then the second time I see it it gets boring. Well, with this movie I could literally sit and watch it all day long. And honestly, the joker made the movie (Heath Ledger was the best joker ever! He will never be replaced!) I would recommend this movie fro everyone (except for really little kids who might get scared.) I was reading Sunday that the movie made $314 million dollars in the first ten days it was out and then I looked at the sales for the first night it came out and on the first night it came out they had made about $18.5 million dollars in just one night! That is pretty amazing!

Answer to Prayers!

Today we were out on the boat all day long. We left the house at about 9:30ish. We fished around a bit and also tanned or for me, burned. As we anchored the boat at an Island we ate lunch, relaxed, and swam around. Then we headed back for the pier as it was about to rain. Once we got back the boat all hooked up to the car and got settled for the drive home, it started raining a bit. Once we got home we cleaned the boat and the dog! I had a few pictures to share, but unfortunately my camera is no longer alive (it drowned.) As we were heading into the water at the island I forgot to take my camera out of my pocket until a few minutes later. I took it out and let it dry, but it did not work. Fortunately my prayers were answered. I have been debating over the past few months on getting a really nice camera or getting a laptop. I started praying about it and asking God witch one I should get. Now I know! So basically, we had a really fun day and my parents are in San Fransisco!!!! If you would like to read about there first day you can check out there blog by clicking here!

No Parents!!!

My parents left this morning on there anniversary trip to San Fransisco, California. This week me and my sister will be staying with my aunt, uncle, and cousins who live about 10 minutes away from our house. We will be going to the pool, venturing out into the open sea on my Uncles boat, and just chilling. I am looking forward to the next couple of weeks for many reasons. First is that we get to spend a lot of time with our family and second is that on August 4 we my sister, cousin and I leave for Lake Placid with our youth group for youth camp. I am so excited about youth camp and cannot wait to share with you what happened this year!!! So stay posted to see what we are doing this week and then what happened at youth camp!

P.S. If you would like to read each day about my parents trip to San Fransisco you can read my mom's blog at http://www.thejourneyx4.blogspot.com/.

Texas De Brazil

Last night we celebrated my cousins 15th birthday at Texas De Brazil. I had never been there before and it was great! The food was amazing and the waiters were so kind and friendly. They pured your drink for you, they put your napkin in your lap for you, and they even folded your napkin for you. The salad bar was huge and there was a huge variety of meat. Everything from chicken to lamb to beef, they had it all.

In case you haven;t been there before this is how it goes. You sit down and there is a little card next to you that has a green side and a red side. You flip the card to green when you want meat and when you don't want any you flip it to red. They have waiter guys that walk around with meat on a stick and when you want something they will cut some off for you and you just take it of the stick. It is all you can eat and very delicious. Although pricey, I think it was worth it!

Paradise Cove

Today me and my cousin Brittni were invited by our other cousins from West Palm Beach to go to CB Smith Water Park. It's kinda sad that I live right across the street from CB Smith Park, yet I have never been to the water park! Although it was a partly cloudy day, it was a lot of fun. We rode both of the water slides a number of times and we rode the lazy river at least 10 times around. They also had a huge bucket of water over the water park that would tip over every couple of minutes. Me and my other cousins would stand where the bucket would dump and then after it dumped we would swim around the park place and then wait again. The only bad part of the day was that there were so many camps there! Although our day was cut short due to rain, we made the most of it. It was a lot of FUN!

Final Sanibel Update

(if you have not read my first post click HERE. If you haven't read my second post click HERE.)

This morning we woke up at about 6 am. We walked the beach and were able to see the sun rise. It was an amazing sight and I was able to get some really good pictures. After we walked the beach for a while we went back to the hotel and went back to bed for a couple of hours. Once we got up the second time we at breakfast and got everything packed up and ready to leave. On our way out of the Island we stopped by the Lighthouse on the Island. It was a very cool and old lighthouse. We had to park in a parking lot and then walk a little bit to the lighthouse. While we were looking at the lighthouse with a couple of other people, we were able to see rain crossing the beach towards us. We all started sprinting towards the cars. We were able to make it in time and were then on our way home. We stopped for lunch at McDonald's and then we stopped at a Wal Mart for my sister to get basketball shorts and we also found flip-flops for 1 dollar.

We made it home at about 3:30 and unloaded everything by 4. We were fortunate to be able to have someone make us dinner. At 6 we went over to my Aunt's house for dinner to celebrate my Uncle's 48th birthday. It was a great day and great weekend. Below are some picture that I took of the weekend along with a video of the clams I told you about in my second post.
