ACC Champions!!!

The University of Miami men's baseball team won the ACC Championship on Sunday. They played Virginia and beat them 8-4. Now the team is focussing on winning the NCAA Championship. They are ranked #1 and Today at 12:30, ESPN2 will announce who will play who. Miami is also hosting 4 games at their home stadium!!! This post probably only excites Miami fans.....but don't worry Gators and Seminoles......there's always hope...next year! (actually FSU is also in the NCAA Tournament...but they won't go to far!) I am Going Green!!!!!!!!!!

On Sunday my church (Oasis Church) started a new sermon series titled Going Green. I thought it was very good and it inspired me to start Going Green. So, I am going to list 11 ways in which I am going to go green.

11 Ways I am Going Green!!!

1. Turn off water while brushing teeth.
2. Take shorter showers.
3. Pick up trash when I see it.
4. Turn off lights when not in use.
5. Switch all the light bulbs in my house to fluorescent.
6. Turn water off when washing car in between uses.
7. Wash car in grass to water grass and wash car.
8. Not waste paper at school.
9. No use plastic bags at publix, but use there tote type bags that you reuse.
10. Recycle aluminum cans, newspaper, and water bottles.
11. But Green Clothes!!! (JC Pennies now has a line of clothes all enviromentally friendly)

American Idol

I did not really get to watch tonight, but I heard Davd Cook. He did a very good job singing a SWITCHFOOT song!!!!!!!! I could not beleive it. He did great though. GO DAVID! I think he will win....no....I know he will win!

70's Project

I just finished my 70's project for history this weekend and tonight. I can honeslty say I learned alot from it. The 70's were a very interesting era. Not to brag on myself, but I think that this is one of the best projects I have ever done. There is a 3D dico ball and I took the music chip out of the singing hallmark cards and put those on my board. IT's Aswum!!!!! Below are some pics. Tell me what you think about it!

Sisters first prom

Friday Night my sister went to her first prom! My Dad actually let her go out with a guy!!! She was very nervous and you could tell. When she came down stairs she shaking and was greeted by me, my mom, my dad, our next door neighbor, my aunt, and Jordan Droira. Yes, her date was Jordan. He brought my mom a flower and my sister a corsage thing. They went with the surge youth group and they went to the Cheesecake factory and a boat. She said they had lots of fun......but you'll have to ask her about the details. Below are some pics!
Her and Jordan They had a hard time getting the corsage and stuff on both of them! Once we finished inside with our family, we went outside and Jordan's dad had to et some pictures! What made it worse was that we had about 12 skater kids sitting down watching Kodie and Jordan waving and yelling. It was pretty funny.
