Final Sanibel Update
(if you have not read my first post click HERE. If you haven't read my second post click HERE.) This morning we woke up at about 6 am. We walked the beach and were able to see the sun rise. It was an amazing sight and I was able to get some really good pictures. After we walked the beach for a while we went back to the hotel and went back to bed for a couple of hours. Once we got up the second time we at breakfast and got everything packed up and ready to leave. On our way out of the Island we stopped by the Lighthouse on the Island. It was a very cool and old lighthouse. We had to park in a parking lot and then walk a little bit to the lighthouse. While we were looking at the lighthouse with a couple of other people, we were able to see rain crossing the beach towards us. We all started sprinting towards the cars. We were able to make it in time and were then on our way home. We stopped for lunch at McDonald's and then we stopped at a Wal Mart for my sister to get basketball shorts and we also found flip-flops for 1 dollar.
We made it home at about 3:30 and unloaded everything by 4. We were fortunate to be able to have someone make us dinner. At 6 we went over to my Aunt's house for dinner to celebrate my Uncle's 48th birthday. It was a great day and great weekend. Below are some picture that I took of the weekend along with a video of the clams I told you about in my second post.

Sanibel Island update #1

As we set off this morning at about 10:20, we were setting off on an adventure! It honestly felt like forever getting there, about 2 hours and 30 minutes. To get to Sanibel we had to cross over this huge overpass. The beaches around us were very clear and calm.
